Today, we are living a very significant moment for the category of THERAPISTS. For the fourth time, therapists in Brazil come together to seek solutions aimed at the institutionalization of the more than six hundred thousand professionals that compose this old / new Health category, to be recognized by the Federal Government through a Law that defines and includes us in the programmes of the Ministry of Health.

The IV National Therapists Conference is a continuation of the events held by FENATE in search of the regulation and creation of the FEDERAL AND REGIONAL COUNCIL OF THERAPISTS, which has been extended since 2004.

Parallel to the Fourth Conference, we innovated with the First International Therapists Conference, when personalities from other countries will be presenting the current conjuncture of therapies, legislation and forms of recognition.

• Offer proposals and solutions to problems involving the category at national level
• Promote exchange of experiences related to therapists' activities.
• Discuss the new CBO - specifically about the new therapies included, references, job characteristics, competencies, areas of activities, work resources, etc. with the intention to request a review to include new therapies.
• Promote roundtables to discuss:
  • Institutionalization: directions and perspectives
  • Insertion of the therapist into the structure of the state, aiming at their participation in hospitals, health centres and others, as volunteers
• Forward the results of the Congress to the parliamentary class to strengthen the importance of Institutionalization and creation of the Law that will regulate the category, as well as creation of the Federal Council and Regional Councils of Therapists
• Create the opportunity to expose natural therapy products and services, natural products pharmacies, homeopathic pharmacies, phytotherapeutic and manipulative pharmacies, companies that manufacture therapy related products and equipment to defend their interests in the current conjuncture before ANVISA and other inspection organs
  
• Definition of the National and International Therapists Day.
• Motion of intentions of scientific, ecological and social projects for a more dignified and solidary world

Professionals in Natural, Energetic and Vibrational Therapies, parliamentarians involved in bills for therapists, products and equipment companies focused on therapies; Health professionals and the general public (users and / or interested in knowledge about therapies) in Brazil and in other countries
